1 Non-functioning TV, cold room temperature, unfriendly reception

the outside of the building, staff are friendly.

Room condition is poor, although the bath room is brand new.

The dinner was super, great stuff, they are always trying to guess your wishes. Nice garden. We had a really huge bathroom in our room! Location is also great, close to the town, walking distance from citadel.

The new blankets on the beds would complete the nice image of the hotel...

The dinner was amazing-really great! The room was decent but I could hear the neighbors. Just wished the breakfast had more options 😕

The restaurant service was restricted for reservations, at the arrival there was no possibility to dine in the hotel or in walking distance.and we were told,that the restaurant was booked out two days later as well..So there was no possibility for us as guests in the hotel,to have dinner.

I appreciated the hotel, it's stunningly beautiful and absolutely fabulous and the location is marvellous near the restaurant. Location: the property was very close to the massive Citadel overlooking Namur and the Chateau de Namur as a base on a tour of the Ardennes...

Here's my unfiltered experience

I had a splendid night in a spacious Comfort Twin Room, where thick walls ensured peace. The breakfast was a good spread, with fresh orange juice and made-to-order eggs. The hotel is easy to find, nestled in a safe area with beautiful grounds. Staff were really good and the restaurant was a culinary highlight!

It has super-friendly employees.

The charming historical ambiance adds a unique flair.

During my stay of one night, I found the room quite stuffy. The payment arrangement was frustrating. The receptionist refused to split the bill for our dinner despite our reasonable request. Lastly, the buzzing sound from the electrical installations woke me up in the morning, disrupting my sleep.

Great hotel in a fantastic setting, near the Namur Citadel. Rooms were nice and very spacious. Personnel friendly and helpful. Great gourmet restaurant with nice niews and wonderful food.

We booked a room for the special fare of 60,-. The room we got was very nice and had comfortable beds as well as nice bathroom with bath. Unfortunately breakfast was not included.

Nice location on top of the hill with beautiful views. Citadele is on walking distance, Centre of the city 10 min by car. Big room.

Room was little bit old.

I stayed in a beautiful room with great decor and enjoyed really good service at dinner. The location offers fine views of the city, especially from the terrace. Breakfast had a good buffet selection, and the outdoor garden is lovely, even in winter 🌹

For a 4 star hotel, it was 1 very big disappointment!! The decor was very shabby & the sitting area at the bar was very dirty; meaning that the upholstery of the sofas & arm chairs were disgusting. The rooms were clean but since we had no bed covers, we saw that the blankets were dirty & had seen better days. We also wanted to eat dinner in the dining room & waited until 19h when it opened. What we didn't expect was that the whole dining room was reserved & therefore, we had to go to town to eat....not acceptable
